Ellis County Sheriff, Brad Norman endorses Todd Little

Justin Coffman, Midlothian City Council endorses Todd Little

Todd Little has proven himself over and over as the right man for Ellis County.  The achievements of his first term are to many to list, but I believe his greatest is the passing of the pro-life resolution protecting the children of Ellis County.  Join the Coffman family in voting for the re-election of Todd Little.

Ferris City Council Endorses Todd Little

"While emotions have been weaponized by political actors across our state and nation, we have been hard at work in Ellis County. In the City of Ferris, our focus has been on our purpose, our people, and progress. Working with Ellis County Judge Todd Little collaboratively has been our pleasure over the last several years. Throughout the time we have worked with Judge Little, he has demonstrated a thoughtful resolve concerning the various issues faced by Ellis County. The willingness and determination of Judge Little to work cooperatively with the City of Ferris, through our elected and appointed officials, to reach solutions that benefit the citizens of Ferris has been a breath of fresh air. Too often, in a political world that sees few committed to the people they represent, we do not see leaders focused on their purpose as elected officials.

Over the last several years, Ellis County and the City of Ferris have faced challenges unique to our community, state, nation, and world. While we will never agree with all the decisions of political leaders, they have significant responsibilities. As with many situations in life, people often rise or fall to meet the expectations that we place upon them. Our responsibility as citizens is to expect our leaders to lead and give them enough support so that they may do so, and that doesn't mean we always agree. Judge Little has led during these challenging times and exhibited that being a learning leader is not beneath him. We have not and will not agree on every situation, but the mutual respect he exhibits, and his willingness to discuss each situation to find common ground, is commendable.

Some of the challenges Ellis County faced were unlike any in this generation have seen and could have devastated our communities. Yet, while politics and public service have unfortunately become total warfare, Judge Little has remained deliberate in his actions. He is always willing to examine the varying interests of Ellis County and those that specifically impact the City of Ferris. When we have needed him, he has been there and has been willing to lend a hand and support our great city. For example, when our City Manager called Judge Little with the idea and vision for the Monoclonal Antibody Center, Judge Little was supportive of that vision and quickly jumped on board.

We urge all residents of Ellis County, particularly those in the City of Ferris, to vote in this election and suggest that they cast a vote for the re-election of Judge Todd Little. Paul Polman, in a quote that could describe the service of Judge Little, once said, “The basic skills of leaders are always the same: be driven by a deeper purpose, be a human being, have a passion for what you do, and it's also about hard work and ethics.”"

Midlothian City Councilman Hud Hartson endorses Little

During this time of unprecedented growth Ellis County continues to face numerous important challenges which requires strong leadership. I believe Judge Todd Little is the right person for the job. The county has to be prepared for this growth on many fronts. He has worked hard with city governments and the commissioners court to encourage businesses to come here so that our citizens have access to high paying quality jobs within the county. This, among other actions he has taken, has enabled the county to

keep the tax rate as low as possible and at the same time address the many issues the Ellis County Sheriff's Office was facing. He helped to increase their funding which enabled them to invest in an $8.5M county-wide Motorola communications system to keep our first responders safer. He was also instrumental in fixing their pay scale and other issues associated with that which in turn helps them retain veteran officers.  As a career police officer outside of Ellis County, I truly appreciate Judge Littles efforts to improve the overall quality of the Ellis County Sheriff's Department. He promised to "facilitate improved law enforcement for safety of all citizens" and without a doubt he has done that. For these and many more reasons I have chosen to publicly endorse Ellis County Judge Todd Little for re-election.
